Agricultural Processor (HILO)

Agricultural Processor position available at the Hawaiʻi ʻUlu Co-op’s Hilo facility!

Agricultural processors at the ʻUlu Coop transform raw agricultural goods and ingredients into finished products. At the ʻAlae facility in Hilo, much of our work currently involves the production of ʻulu flour and flour-derived products. The scope of this work is constantly evolving as we develop new products and processes!

We are currently hiring for a full-time, 40 hour per week position / five days per wk (M-F) for about 8 hours each day. Specific responsibilities include fruit slicing, dehydrating, milling, blending and packing.

Processing agricultural products requires physical labor, including operating machinery and moving up to 50lbs. Good vision (corrected vision is fine), hearing (corrected hearing is fine), and situational and spatial awareness are important parts of staying safe in the kitchen.

Agricultural processors must follow the HUC Dress Standards for personal and product safety.

This position starts at $18.00/hr.

Benefits include 0.0612 hours of PTO accrued per hour worked, medical and dental packages, and 20% off co-op products.

Target start-date: Immediately (April/May 2026)
