Harvest Crate Sharing

A Members Only Program

HUC members in good standing are eligible to participate in HUC’s harvest crate share program. This low-cost “equipment share” enables farmers to conveniently drop off produce in specialized harvesting crates and pick up cleaned and sanitized containers in good condition for your next harvest.

Crate sizes currently available include:
Small, green, hand-held crates hold approximately 25 pounds and cost $22 per crate.
Large, beige, pallet-size crates hold approximately 1,000 pounds and cost $480 per crate.

Crates can be sold back to the co-op at cost at the end of the season as long as they are in good condition. If you have any questions, please contact Operations staff at: operations@eatbreadfruit.com (Kona) or at alae@eatbreadfruit.com (Hilo)
