Farm Consultations
HUC offers all member-owners the opportunity for on-farm consultations with our staff, which can also coincide with soil and ‘ulu tissue sampling during the spring and fall sampling period if assistance is needed. Please see our Farm Consultation Policy below for information on scheduling.
- All new members with more than 10 trees can request a no-cost farm consultation upon joining the co-op and annually thereafter, using the form provided. HUC staff will review the request to determine if an in-person farm visit is warranted based on staff availability or if support can effectively be provided through other methods – such as phone/email consultation or sharing of existing online resources.
- Members with 10 trees or fewer do not qualify for free farm consultations; however, they may request an in-person consultation as needed at a flat-fee of $100 plus mileage and GET, using the request form provided. Scheduling a consultation is contingent on staff availability.
- Members with more than 50 trees qualify for a no-cost in-person farm consultation upon joining the co-op and annually thereafter, and can also request additional consultations as needed by submitting the request form.
