Stephanie Duran
Stephanie, our Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist, ensures that all our facilities and products comply with current health and safety guidelines. With over a decade of experience in the commercial food industry, her expertise often comes in handy and makes developing new products much easier.
Before the Cooperative
Stephanie is originally from Southern California, but her family has lived on the Big Island since 2006. She is a California State University of Fullerton graduate with a B.S. in biological science concentrating on biodiversity, ecology, and conservation biology with a minor in anthropology. Stephanie is also a farmer on her family’s 25-acre property in Kau, which focuses on māmaki and coffee cultivation.
Stephanie has over 12 years in the food industry, including manufacturing consumer products. After graduating college, she worked her way up in the Quality, Food Safety and Compliance field. She has extensive experience managing all related programs for a global company, including launching domestic and international products.
